Crime reality in rural Area Field studying in Diyala Province

Abstract

Abstract The is a descriptive study trying to founding the dialectic relationship between crime and social factors of criminal behavior . The researcher tried examining the social factors which derived the person towards criminal behavior. While the crime is one of social phenomena which is available in all humanity societies in all times , it is shown one of aspects of the social behavior in different time and places . Necessarily it reflected the problems with human society filled in all time and place . The crime as type of behavior represents faithful expressing of social knowledge of some individuals of society . This study aims to search the position of crime in Diyala as type of the Iraqi society regarding the kinds of crime , their characteristic of perpetrators and also the knowledge of relation between the social cultural economic realty and the fact of the crime of rural area in Diyala. In this study used the interview fact and the simple note depending the method of social survey which one of widespread methods among the specialists of social sciences . used the survey of sample . The researcher suggested many suppositions in order to study the relation between the phenomenon and the subjective factors which effect it . They are: 1-There is solid relation between the social and cultural fact rural area and the fact of crime. 2-There is principal role of social rural traditions which forced the individual to perpetrate the criminal behavior . 3-The weakness of the role of low in rural area in comparison to the rural habit and another social control. 4-The social solidarity among the individuals in rural social and its role which encourage the individual to perpetrate him criminal behavior .  The study attained the following : 1-There is positive relation between the kind of crime and capacity of income of individuals of sample. 2-There is position relation between the need of money and the kind of crime. 3-Most of crime which perpetrated rural area are open. 4-The social rural traditions have role in encourage of perpetrating social behavior . 5-The social habit is the widest spread means in the social control.  The researcher give many suggestions:- 1-Spreading the legal culture among all the individuals of the society by education and media. 2-Consolidating the positive social solidarity by institutes of civil society. 3-Confirmation of the role of official and unofficial social control in the rural society. 4-Confirmation of the courts regarding the determine of the rural conflicts .
