This intervention stems from a central question: “To what extent did the
texts of Egypt's 2014 constitution contribute to achieving human rights for
citizens, leading to effective citizenship?”
In order to answer this question, this intervention dealt with a social
reading of the texts of the 2014 Egyptian constitution, then identifying the
reality of these texts, in order to identify the extent to which they achieve
effective citizenship, for the mosaic of the current Egyptian society.
